Critical comments by the judges:

This is an outstanding production. Congratulations. Handel operas are beautiful but require exquisite singers who can carry themselves with dignity and show a braod range. This was as much a feast for the eyes as it was for the ears. It is hard to single out one aspect ofg this production but I must commend you for the ease at which the singer/actors carried themselves. I’ve never seen such confidence from student singers.

Stunning production: delivery of music and concept carried out beautifully. All of the performers handled the movement so well and made it very organic and expressive. Lovely orchestra, good singing – and all made singing and moving in this period/style seem like the most natural thing in the world.

An outstanding production! Beautiful singing, sensitive acting, excellent movement, interesting and appropriate staging, creative and effective direction, excellent orchestral playing. Really outstanding work!
